Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo (born Andrea Navedo) is a published American writer, actress as well as a writer. Her career began in soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she was in a number of roles supporting television shows that aired in primetime. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of NY) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo began her acting career in an afternoon soap. From 1995 until 1997 she was a part of the cast as Linda Soto on the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. The actress made her debut in film through a tiny role on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. In 2001 Navedo was a co-star in the action-comedy film Double Take and the following year was the drama Washington Heights. Navedo played a regular role on the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Then, he appeared as Detective Ana Cordova on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo played in numerous other films as well, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo has also played regular characters on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast!, a comedy film that she played. which was a parody of The Fast and the Furious movie series that debuted in the year 2015. Navedo began her acting career in daytime soaps. From 1995 until 1997, she played the role of Linda Soto in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. In 1999, she became Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. There was a brief appearance on Girl 6 in 1996 and was later seen in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo played the role of Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001.
